Morning carpool is 8:00 - 8:15 a.m. and dismissal is 3:15 - 3:30 p.m. for Preschool and the Academy. Before school care begins at 7:00 a.m. and aftercare is 3:30 - 6:00 p.m.

OFFICE INFORMATION

Welcome to Victory Christian Academy. We are so excited you are here with us. This is one of our forms of communication with parents. We update this weekly to coincide with our Wednesday Word or as we need to get important information out to our families.

Registration News                          Starting on May 1st late registration fees are added: $25 per month, per child (ex. If you re-enroll in May the cost is $200, in June $225, in July $250, in August $275).

TUITION LOAN SIGN-UP for FIRST BANK and TRUST is OPEN NOW! Signing up now does not make your payments start early; your first payment will be due July 1st. Go to www.tuition.fbtonline.com
There is online assistance available as well as bank representatives who can assist you by calling 1-877-426-2498 or 504-584-5967.

 

First Bank and Trust Loans

Your First Bank and Trust loans are ending this month. When you signed up for your loan, you did so for a period of 10 months or less. In April you will make your final payment, as well as any past due payments. Any loans not paid off by the end of April will be charged back to the school for collection. Please note that tuition must be paid in order for students to complete the school year, and to participate in end-of-year programs and graduations. Thank you.
 

UPDATE FROM THE FINANCE OFFICE:

In order to receive a 10 month tuition loan (lower monthly payments) the loan must be requested and approved by May 25, 2012. Please log on to the First Bank and Trust website at tuition.fbtonline.com and complete the on-line loan process as soon as possible.


2010-11 YEARBOOKS ON SALE NOW!
The yearbook is dedicated to Karen LaFleur. Part of the purchase price will go towards the VCA Karen LaFleur Library Fund. The cost is $15 each.

Parent-Teacher Fellowship (PTF)
2012-2013 Nominations
We are taking nominations for the PTF offices for next year. If you would like to nominate someone who you think is right for the job, or if you would like to volunteer for a position yourself, please contact the school office at 733-5087.


Please share any photos that you have taken throughout the year—field trips, sporting events, class parties, etc. Burn the pictures to a CD at HIGH resolution (at least 1MB) and turn the CD in to the office. Thanks for your help!

 
Save all the Campbell Labels, Box Tops, Coca Cola tops, Community Coffee, etc. for our school. You will receive a prize for every 50. When sending in these labels, please separate by type. Put each in a separate Ziploc or envelope. This will greatly help us when we send them in for credit. Thank you.

REMINDERS

VCA parents and MDO parents please make sure you follow the driving instructions while on the property. When you enter the property you are to go left and around the building from 7a.m.-6p.m. This is for the safety of everyone!

When sending in money for your child, please place in an envelope labeled with child’s name, grade and what the money is to be put towards.

When sending in lunch forms, please place your child’s full name, grade and you check off each day you would like to purchase lunch. We cannot assume your child will be eating each day if you just send us a check for a certain amount.

Fingernail polish is NOT allowed at school. Please make sure you check your child’s nails before coming to school.

Since the weather has changed, please check the school’s dress code for outerwear. All students may wear the VCA logo sweatshirt, jacket, sweater or they may wear a solid navy blue jacket or sweater. The school logo sweatshirt is available for purchase in the front office.

If you would like to speak with a teacher, you may call the front office to lave a message and they will return your call at their earliest convenience.

When a student comes to the front office with a fever, diarrhea, or vomiting they must be picked up in a timely manner. They are not to return to school till they are free of these symptoms for 24 hours.
