All accounts must be up to date in order to receive your child’s report card on Monday, March 22nd. If you have any questions you may contact Mrs. Regina at 733-5087 ext. 101.
CAR WASH
The Eighth Graders will have a fundraiser car wash from 1-3p.m,. for all who are interested during parent/teacher conferences.
The cost will be $5 and donations are accepted!!!
A.C.S.I. ART FESTIVAL
All 5th-8th graders that would like to participate in the A.C.S.I. Art Festival must have their entries turned in to Mrs. Chris Barnitz no later than Friday, March 12th!
The March Lunch Forms need to be handed in if you would like your child to receive a hot lunch for $3. If the form is not turned in and the child does not bring their lunch the supplied lunch fee will be $5. If your child would only like pizza on Fridays, you still need to send in a lunch form filled out ON TIME. We will not be accepting money on Fridays for pizza. The chef needs a count ahead of time in order to make sure we have the correct amount for those who have placed their orders on time. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter!
If your child had a field trip this month and you paid lunch for that day you will receive a CREDIT for the month of April!
DRIVING ON THE SCHOOL PROPERTY
When entering the property Monday through Friday you are to go left and all the traffic flows ONE WAY! This begins at 7am and ends at 6:30p.m.This is for the safety of everyone! If you are running late please still follow these instructions. Thanks for your cooperation!
SENDING IN MONEY TO THE SCHOOL
Please send in the exact amount for whatever you may be paying for. Also make sure you send it in an envelope labeled with your child’s name, grade and what the money is for.

CLASS LEVEL NEWS
The PK3 class is reviewing letters Oo and Pp. They are learning about creation and what God created on each day. Their Bible verse is Psalm 139:14, “I am Fearfully and Wonderfully Made.”
The PK4 class is reviewing their Math flash cards 1-18 and counting 0-61. Group 1 is reading Book 10 and Group 2 is reading Book 6. Their Bible story is about Jesus and the Rich man.
The Kindergarten class is working hard on their special sounds charts 6-8. They can also tell time on the hour and half hour.
The first grade class is working hard on longer combinations mixing both addition and subtraction and facts adding 3 double digit numbers. Seven of the students have recited the 13 original colonies! Flat Stanley arrived this week from Houston, TX. They are in the last week of their 3rd 9 weeks and doing nicely.
The second grade class is excited about their upcoming field trip on Thursday the 18th. Parents, don’t forget the money and permission slips are due on Monday the 15th. In Reading they are reading the Farmer and the Donkey. In English they are learning about Adjectives. In Math they are learning the 5 subtraction family 3 as a factor and one third. They will complete History on Friday.
The third grade students are excited about upcoming field trips. They are going to see Disney’s Oceans movie in April. In May the class will visit Destrehan Plantation. They will see candle making, weaving, soldier encampment, artillery, antique toys and moss mattress making. History will come to life!!
The fourth grade is now starting Health. This week the students are eager to learn about the bones that make up the skeletal system. In History students are learning about states and capitals. This Friday they will have a quiz on the New England States.
