School Events
Grandparents’ Day – A special day for the grandparents and parents of our students to visit campus and watch a special, patriotic performance by our students; may include a breakfast or lunch. Students without a grandparent may invite a special aunt, uncle, or other adult.
See You at the Pole – a nationwide event organized on school campuses annually in September including student-led prayer at the flagpole. Parents are invited.
Celebration of Life – a joint event between Victory Fellowship and Victory Christian Academy held on October 31st every year that takes place on the church property. Highlights include a Bible costume contest, inflatables, pony rides, food and drinks for purchase, and carnival games for a nominal cost.
Revival Week – a week-long time in the spring for the students and staff to seek the Lord together. Service takes place every day with guest pastors and live, student-led worship.
Auction – VCA’s big fundraising event for the year which includes dinner and the opportunity to bid on goods and services from local merchants. There is a silent auction as well as a live auction.
Move Up Day – students “move up” to the next grade for a period of time on this day to get a preview of the grade they will be promoting to the following year
National Day of Prayer – a day of prayer set aside by Congress to seek the Lord as a nation. VCA has an assembly to pray for different topics such as government, the military, family, and our school.
Field Day – a day of mixed-grade team relay races and games. Ribbons are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams.
And what exactly is a N.U.T. Card?? It stands for No Uniform Today and is given as a reward to students. N.U.T. Cards are issued for the following Tuesday and students may wear jeans and their Spirit Shirt or a Christian t-shirt.
